The Club’s success at attracting young people to sailing with first Ray Calvin and now Cohn de Fleury could not have been achieved without the support of Trefor Campbell of Moy Park who has lent the club eight Topper dinghies for the past number of years.
Without Trefor’s support it would have been very much more difficult for the Club to have increased its Junior membership so much.
An indication of this success was demonstrated by the turnout at a Racing Rules workshop on 04 March when 18 young sailors took part. The workshop was organised by Cohn de Fleury and run by Bill O’Hara, RYA High Performance Manager.
As the Club is hosting part of the forthcoming
Topper Traveller series I would wish all concerned every success for the future. Ed.
