OF SPECIAL INTEREST ~ ‘PEGGY BAWN’
Built (1894) by Hilditch in Carrickfergus, this beautiful gaff cutter was rescued and restored by yacht historian Hal Sisk, and is accompanied by her mother ship, the ‘ Molly Ban’
Free entrance to the MARITIME MARQUEE. Situated beside CARRICKFERGUS SAILING CLUB, the Marquee will house these exhibits of interest:
SATURDAY 6th JUNE ~ 12 noon
Enjoy the spectacle of the Classic fleet while they race round the buoys just off-shore, viewed from Carrickfergus Sailing Club, the East Pier, the Marine Highway , Fisherman’s Quay.
