Michael Slattery Challenge Cup Event

Racing – Sunday 26th July 2009:

• It will be a one day event incorporating 4 races.
• Entry fee - £5.00 per boat.
• Approximate time of first race is 11:55 am – so we can have a nice lie in – more about that later!!!!
• Sailing instructions will be finalised within the next day or so & will email them round.

And now the freebies:

• Back by popular request - a rum punch will be provided following the race – Hic!!
• Obviously this year is going to be fantastic weather (for a change!!!) – so we will be providing a free BBQ for competitors following the race.
• Overnight berthing in the Marina will be provided – sponsorship may even stretch to a week-end break.
• The prize-giving (Slattery Challenge Cup & 1st \ 2nd \ 3rd place prizes) will of course take place after the race in the Clubhouse to resounding applause.
• Anyone wishing to participate of the hospitality that bit longer can get free berthing in the marina on Sunday night courtesy of Michael Slattery Associates.

Now - regarding that lie in on Sunday!!!!!:

Holywood Regatta on Saturday 25th July – most of our FF’s are going to the Regatta – soooo why not join us on at the Holywood Regatta – we propose

• Everyone head over to Holywood Regatta – back to CSC for more hospitality & boats can be kept in the marina overnight courtesy of Michael Slattery Associates for that much needed lie in before the racing starts on Sunday.
• High Tide on Friday is 13:34 & High Tide on Saturday is 14:25
• So – maybe you will want to launch your boat on Friday afternoon – if so - you will also get free berthing on the Friday night courtesy of Michael Slattery Associates.
