RYA Training Centre

As an R.Y.A. recognized training centre, Carrickfergus Sailing Club offer an extensive range of R.Y.A. sailing courses and powerboat courses to cater for everyone’s needs.
With qualified and friendly instructors we create a safe and fun environment for all ages to relax and learn how to sail, getting the most out of their course.
Carrickfergus Sailing Club provide excellent clubhouse facilities, with friendly staff. The restaurant and bar overlooks Belfast Lough, so you chill out in the club house and watch all the sailing activity on the Lough.

Junior Sailing

Kids love sailing almost as much as they love falling in the water. Here at Carrickfergus Sailing Club our aim is not just to get youngsters up and going, but also to really get them into sailing and to experience the amazing buzz you get from doing it.

Adult Sailing

Carrickfergus Sailing Club also run an extensive range of R.Y.A. sailing courses for adults who want to learn how to sail. The great advantage of dinghy sailing is that you can enjoy the speed and excitement of the sport as soon as you first hit the water.
It’s an easy sport to start learning, so if you’re looking for a basic introduction to sailing then dinghies are the right place to start.
