Carrickfergus Sailing Club will be running a series of junior sailing courses
throughout the school summer holidays.
These will include the Youth Sailing Scheme Stages 1 to 4
And the National Sailing Scheme Levels 1 and 2.
Run over 5 half days,
0930 - 1230 Monday - Friday
This course is the quickest and best value for money.
Covering both stages 1 and 2 in five half days. It’s all about having fun getting wet and learning how to sail.
Starting with the basic skills of sailing and progressing to sailing your own boat and improving your skills by the end of the week.
Run over 5 half days,
0930 - 1330 Monday - Friday
After completing your stages 1 and 2 you will be ready to undertake stages 3 and 4, getting more out of your boat and taking on the challenges of the sea and some racing.
You should ask your instructor beforehand as to whether you are ready for this course. Time on the water has been increased in order to cover the entire course.
Courses are generally run every week through the summer with the 2008 ones starting with the week commencing 30th June through to the final one starting on 25th August

Carrickfergus Sailing Club also run sailing courses for adults. However since work restrictions may dictate whenever you can partake in a sailing course, please contact us and we will try to organise course dates to suit your schedule.
