Location

Situated on the North shore of Belfast Lough, we are located within easy reach of Scotland, Dublin and the Isle of Man giving a fantastic opportunity for travelling yachts located on the Irish Sea. With an on site marina, camping facilities and hotels within a 2 minute walk CSC is an ideal location for a Keelboat event.

Mid and East Antrim Borough Council have offered subsidised berthing for competitors, allowing yachts to berth for up to 3 nights for just £45.

We have great transport links, with both local airports and ferry terminals being less than 30 minute away.

Racing

CSC offers the opportunity to race on some of the best sailing waters in Ireland, with minimal tidal effects and options for race courses in all wind directions. Racing will take place on the 8/9th August on Belfast Lough.

Fleet splits will be finalised once entry closes, but we will aim for 2 or 3 fleets depending on numbers.

IRC Championship rules require a mix of race formats to allow for fairer racing across classes. Saturday will begin with 1 or 2 W/L races followd by a longer coastal / round the cans race. Sunday will be be 3/4 W/L or round the cans races with a target time of 45 minutes.

Shoreside
The GBR IRC Northern Ireland Championship will run alongside our club regatta, which is renowned locally for having excellent Apres Sail on the Saturday Evening. A selection of live music and food will be available.

Prize giving will be after racing on Sunday.
