Welcome to the 2026 Ruffian Irish National Championship!
We are absolutely thrilled to welcome the Ruffian fleet to Carrickfergus Sailing Club from Friday, 26th June to Sunday, 28th June 2026 for three days of brilliant racing, great laughs, and classic CSC hospitality.
Whether you’re a regular on our waters or traveling to join us, we want to make your weekend as easy and fun as possible. Here is everything you need to know:
⛵ On the Water
We have a fantastic 6-race series planned out on the Lough. The action kicks off on Friday morning, with the first warning signal at 10:55 AM.
Hassle-Free Logistics
We’ve got you covered from the moment you arrive:
- Free Boat Lift: Free lift-in on Thursday and lift-out on Sunday for all travelling boats.
- Free Parking: On-site trailer storage is completely free.
- Berthing: Visiting boats can enjoy 3 nights of berthing right here for just £30.
Food, Drinks & Good Times
The clubhouse will be the hub of all the weekend’s action, so you won’t have to wander far to fuel up:
- Breakfast: Hearty, reasonably priced breakfasts served Friday and Saturday morning (8:00 AM – 10:00 AM) to get you ready for the line.
- Friday Night: Relax and unwind with catering right at the club after day one.
- The Big Saturday Night Roast: Join everyone for a delicious 2-course roast dinner at the club for just £20. (Just a heads-up: this needs to be pre-booked and paid for online so our chef can get a headcount!)
- Sunday Apres-Sail: We’ll have plenty of food and drinks flowing to celebrate the winners and wrap up the weekend.
